Faith Promise Missions Conference
After our stewardship month in January, we invite about 4 or 5 missionaries to join our missions conference. We have some exciting services that center around the Word of God and the vision of the missionaries for people around the world. We also have an
"International Dinner" on the Wednesday of the last day of the missions conference.
Regional Teen Talent Contest
During the last week of February, recently the first
week of March since 1995, Moraine Heights Baptist
Church has sponsored the Regional Teen Talent Contest.
This is a opportunity for teens from across the
tri-state area (Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky) Independent
Baptist Churches to gather and showcase their talents
for God's glory.
This is not a small event. On average, we host
approximately 20 churches and have over 400 teens
entered to compete. The are over 30 events and over 200 trophies will be awarded.
Competition include the following: preaching (boys
only), Bible story telling (girls only), singing (solo
& group), instrumentals, song leading, Bible quizzing,
Bible knowledge, drawing, painting, photography, art,
skits & drama, dramatic reading, gospel tracts,
brochure & website design, short stories, and poetry.
Kid's Crusade
Kid's Crusade is 90 minutes of pure excitement geared to meet
the needs of children ages 5-12. It is not a vacation
Bible School or Sunday School or like any other church
program. It is a constantly changing venue of action
packed song, exciting skits, fabulous puppet shows, and
special treats each night. Kid's crusade promises to
be a wonderful experience for your child!
More Highlights
There are so many special events that you have to come
and see them for yourself to appreciate them fully
like the Sizzling Tuesdays in July where we shift the "normal" mid week
prayer services from Wednesdays to listen to some of the best preaching in United States!
Other times like our "Harvest Days" in the fall are inspiring, where we had a soul-winning
conference with great preaching and soul-stirring songs. We followed that up
with a Harvest Sunday where we roasted Hogs and had a dinner on the grounds!
As you can see we are really in for some exciting times. Amen!
