Sunday Classes
Getting Started Classes for the little ones!Sleepers & Creepers (birth to 2 years)
We have a clean, well-staffed, furnished nursery. We use a beeper system to alert moms if their children need them. We offer the service to give families opportunity to enjoy a Sunday class and providing a loving atmosphere for the babies.
Walkers & Talkers (2 to 3 years)
There is huge indoor jungle gym to help the ones with their wiggles. The teachers provide a simple Bible story and coloring pages.
Beginners (3 to 4 years)
In this classroom, your child will learn about our Savior's love and the Word of God through various biblical people and basic Bible stories.
Wednesday Classes
Bouncing Baptist Babies
Moraine Heights Baptist Church offers a unique and wonderful Wednesday night activity for your child from birth to 3 years old. In Bouncing Baptist Babies not only do we provide loving care but we also capture special memories!
Every Wednesday night that your child is present the workers will take part in creating a personalized scrapbook and video. Five minutes at a time they will take pictures and video over a three year period that will be presented to you when they have their graduation ceremony. Graduation
consists of moving them from Bouncing Baptist Babies (Nursery) to Wigglers (a class for ages 3 yrs. through Kindergarten)
which is a big deal at Moraine Heights.
In front of the whole church, they march to the front and get presented their certificate, scrapbook, and video. The scrapbook is a record of your little one from foot prints, to a record of your baby's firsts, to a video of the fun they have in the nursery--it is all waiting for you at our nursery
on Wednesday nights!
Wigglers
If your child, boy or girl, has outgrown the nursery Moraine Heights Baptist
Church has just the opportunity for 3 to 5 year olds
designed for the young at heart. Wigglers meet every Wednesday during our mid-week prayer service.
During the school season (September through June), wigglers are supervised by caring adults who teach them the Bible through memory verses, stories, illustrations, puppets,
songs, games, and fun activities.
The Wigglers class assist parents in preparing these children to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. We feel it is better to grow and prepare young boys and girls than to repair men and women.
Champions for Christ (similar to Awanas)
We love Children and have developed a program just for the 1st through 6th grade. Champions for Christ meet every Wednesday during our mid-week prayer service. The
purpose of Champions is to grow and develop in these young people a solid foundation for life. These young ones will be groomed to be a real champion for Christ.
Our goal is memorizing Bible verses. We desire that each Champion will hide God's Word in their hearts so that they might not sin. We want these young ones to know what they believe and why they believe now.
Activities for the Champions are many and are tailored to their abilities and maturity. Champions have a large
youth chapel to play kickball, basketball, volleyball,
relay races, tug-of-war, and hundreds of other games.
Champions are not restricted to just the chapel on Wednesday nights. Champions also take trips to local attractions such as Young's Dairy Farms, Air Force Museum, putt-putt golf, and the Cincinnati Zoo to mention a few.
We would consider it a real honor if you would let your children visit us! We promise to love them and help them grow closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus.
